Ant's Eye View: Microsoft MVP Summit just days away…

I am super excited to be coming and even more excited about seeing Bill Gates than you I bet. ; ) It has been a dream of mine to just meet him and get a pic with him. My reason? I look a lot like him and working in IT every where I go I am told that I look like him. I just want a picture standing next to him to pull out show people..no see THAT's Bill Gates. LOL
Hope to run into you there and get a picture of that Karaoke dig.

It's funny you say that, I think it was two years ago we had an MVP / Billg look alike. During the opening reception, I played a joke where I brought him up front - there was a moment where a lot of pictures were taken before people realized it wasn't really Bill. I'll have to see who the best look alike is next week.

    See you soon!

Hi Sean , this is the answer of mine when somebody asks me "How can I become an MVP?".

"MVPs don’t really try to be MVPs…it’s just who they are - they love to help people with technology."

    :)

    Hi Sean,
it's the final countdown and I'm very nervous. Tomorrow morning I'll start to see you all in Seattle ;-)) It's a long journey from a little Town in Germany called Bad Zwischenahn over Hambourg and Copenhagen to Seattle, where I'll arrive at Saturday afternoon.

Thank you for your great work, you've done in the past and you'll do in future to let us have this great adventure ;-))

I'll blog too about the summit for the German people an I think, there are a lot of things, I'll have to talk about.

    See you in Seattle

Sean, looking forward to meeting you in Seattle!

Uschi, I think we are on the same flight, meet you in Copenhagen!

Osman, your comment reminds me of the "Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe". Learning how to fly is described there as "throw yourself at the ground and miss" ;-)

Talking of 'in the house', what time is the BBQ at yours? :-)
  • Sean · 2 years ago
LOL! I wish I could cook for so many!! I could use the distraction. I'll need to BBQ after summit just to soothe myself.
